Red and dry cheeks?

Has anyone dealt with redness and dry skin on their babies cheeks? We tried many different wipes, most make it worse. Putting Vaseline or cream helps but it always comes back. Any thoughts??

My daughters cheeks look the same and it comes and goes. She also has some patches on her arms. I actually took her to the dermatologist on Thursday and he said it was eczema. Use cerave moisturizing cream on it, nothing scented. He also recommended slathering her in Vaseline once weekly. He also gave us an RX for hydrocortisone to use sparingly. Also recommended only free and clear laundry detergent, no fabric softeners.

Is it something LO is eating that’s causing it? My son gets like this when he eats something that’s contains something he’s allergic to. 
Also try just using a face towel and water to wipe instead of wipes

My daughter gets eczema and dry skin on her cheeks and anywhere where skin touches skin. We use acquaphor and A&D. As long as I moisturize, it goes away, but if I miss it, it comes back. Some kiddos have sensitive skin. (Also teething doesn't help with drooling etc)

Looks a bit like eczema. def don’t use any wipes with chemicals. Warm water on a wash cloth. Keep dry. Vaseline works as a barrier and helps my sons eczema but I only use it when it’s quite bad as otherwise his skin becomes dependant on it. Also, for sure consider dietary stuff - my guy is lactose intolerant and his eczema flares right up any time he has any lactose.
