My husband is a massage therapist and does prenatal massage.. he doesn’t use any essential oils and a lot of prenatal massage is positioning and lower intensity with avoiding some key pressure points.. you can confirm with your doctor but if it’s someone certified in prenatal, go have your massage!!

I would reschedule. Most places wont do it within the first trimester because its a grey area for liability if you happen to miscarry. I would personally make you reschedule if you came to me and disclosed that you were still in the first trimester

I get massages done once a month. I just told my massage therapist that I was pregnant and we switched everything to prenatal instead of my normal one. I went the week I found out I was pregnant (at 4 and half weeks) and I am currently 13 weeks & 5 days! We just had an ultrasound done on Monday and little munchkin is thriving and heart rate was 160. I still see her every month religiously. Just be up front and honest with them.
