Did you use your double stroller?

Question

My son will be 2 years and 7 months older than his little brother. I cannot remember the last time we have taken any walk with a stroller because he wants to walk and hold my hand. Rarely I use it if I’m just running into the store and it’s just an umbrella stroller I got for free. We haven’t touched his nice Chicco bravo stroller since he started walking.
But now I’m trying to shop for baby #2 and I’m wondering if it’s even worth getting a double stroller when my first won’t sit in one. Baby #2 is also coming in November and we get harsh winter so we won’t strolling around. I’m thinking of waiting until next summer when baby #2 is 6 months old and getting a nice wagon instead. 
How much use do you get out of yours?

But you’d have to buy the toddler seat and infant seat. I bought the travel system! So I already had the infant seat and stuff 😊

Definitely worth it for us! My kids are 3 years apart and they are in the stroller if we’re in busy areas. And for walks if my son (now 4) gets tired so he’s able to sit. It was a must for us. This one tagged is a single to double! So it has the bassinet which was a must havw for my kids also

I don’t have a second child, but I have my niece here a lot. She’s not a huge stroller fan, she prefers to walk, but when she sees her cousin in the stroller, she wants to be in it too. It could happen that your first born will want to be in the stroller at first too because that’s where their sibling is, especially if you’re giving attention to sibling in the stroller. 
I’m planning on having another child, so I bought a stroller that can go from single to double, so that if both need to be in the stroller then it can be used in double mode, otherwise I’ll keep it in single mode for one child. I bought the bugaboo donkey2 and use it in single mode unless my niece is over, and it takes less than 10 seconds to convert it into a double. I also love how as a double it can still fit thru standard doors, and the push is incredible. I’m also getting a wagon too for summer fun, I’m looking into the larktale or a new wagon coming out in July, the anthem.

I used it while my second was in the infant seat. Once she was able to sit up (6 months or so) we stopped using it. We use our radio flyer discovery stroller wagon everyday. When we used the double stroller they would fuss the entire time but both love the wagon.

We loved this one or anything similar. That way older one can walk & get exercise but still sit once tired.

I also have this one and love it. Because it has a little bench seat! I use it for shopping at a mall and use the big basket for holding bags! 
I also recommend the EVENFLO stroller wagon, that one can have the infant seat OR toddler seat attached. Doesn’t lay super flat but we used it since 3 months with my kids. Great head control.

Honestly I don’t do strollers for any child over 2. The walking tires them out best and that works for me. Now if we go to a theme park then sure. A wagon or this stroller would work.
