Boyfriend got his 6th month sobriety chip

My boyfriend has been an alcoholic and addicted to pills for years and never even thought about stopping. I am close to 8 months pregnant and when he found out he knew exactly what he needed to do. Get sober. He even cut off his friends who didn't support him getting sober. He's made a few friends from his AA and rehab group. Yesterday he got his 6th month chip! Hes been sober for 6 months! That's the longest in a LONG time. Ive never been so proud of him. Hes putting our daughter first and doing what he needs to.
