No heart beat in u/s

Today I am 8 weeks and 4 days and I had my first prenatal visit. They were unsuccessful in doing an abdominal ultrasound due to my tilted uterus so they did a transvaginal. My sweet little baby measured at 8 weeks and 3 days but they were unable to locate a heartbeat. I haven't had any symptoms of cramping, not even a spot of blood. Just exhaustion and my boobs look amazing. I'm in disbelief that I miscarried. I go back in two weeks for another ultrasound and to determine how I want to carry out my miscarriage if I haven't naturally by then. I'm trying not to lose hope that they just missed the heart beat but my heart is broken.
