Is this odd for a school.
I have custody of my 14 year old nephew. He's bern in my custody about a month. He's autistic and I just enrolled him in this special needs school. You have to enroll early for a spot because if you wait until August they may not have a spot. They have two parts of the school. The High school and middle school. The school isn't necessarily for kids very disabled. More for kids with certain disabilities like autism that just need a bit more help or can't handle a regular school setting. So it's not really for kids who are nonverbal, or low functioning autism. Which is why this confused me. They gave me a list of things they want every student to bring to class and stuff. One was an extra pair of clothes, like pants and undies. These are teenagers who aren't low functioning autism so why do they need an extra pair of clothes. As far as I know me nephew doesn't pee himself so do I really need to bring that?
