Over 11 years ago me and my ex husband were going through <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>. We were also going through extreme troubles in our marriage. Close to my transfer I decided I didn't want kids and I didn't want to be with him so I left him. In divorce court I signed over my rights to those eggs because I didn't want kids so I didn't need them. My ex reached out to me a while ago. He used an egg with a surrogate and had a daughter and she wanted to meet me. She's 11. I did a lot of thinking. I do not see this child as my daughter. I'm an egg donor. I literally legally donated that egg. I told my ex I would as long as their is a clear understanding that I'm not filling a mother role. He said that's already understood and she just wants to know where she came from. When I met her she was obviously a bright girl. She definitely looks like my ex but has my eyes and nose. Me and her talk a bit. She was kind of asking where she may have got several things from. Like her birth Mark, or lazy eye. She then asked how come I didn't want kids. I knew I had to answer this very carefully so I said after thinking, I realized I didn't want children and I just wasn't fit for parenthood. But your daddy wanted a child more than anything and he really wanted to have you so I let him have my egg so he could have the an amazing child hes always wanted. She seemed satisfied with that answer. We visited for a couple hours and that wash that. She seemed satisfied and it didn't go as bad as I thought.
