What are your favorite activities for your kiddos right now? I’ve tried a bunch of things but need new ideas. Gotta keep my little guy entertained while I put his 4m old sister to sleep…. 9/10 he comes in to tell me something but he CANNOT whisper and wakes his sister up 😭 really trying not to do tv with him…

Putting on Cars, sometimes Toy Story, for my guy is the only thing that can keep him still long enough for me to do anything.

Back when I was still in mat leave (I had 7 months off) I used to say I wouldn't do TV either, but then COVID happened, and working from home, and when my little guy is home from daycare, which he has been a lot lately, I had to break my rule and add in some TV time too, to keep him occupied, otherwise he loves his legos and building blocks, coloring books and riding his trike around, riding his truck and playing with smaller toy trucks, climbing foam blocks, reading his baby books, playing with his wooden puzzles and busy board, magnet fishing pole and tank of different toy fish for him to pull out, just some of the stuff we use to keep him busy during the long workdays
