Walking to the bus stop?

What age do you think its okay for your child to walk to the bus stop alone? If it's 8 houses to the corner of the street and you're watching the whole time?

I got off the bus and walked down my little street home by myself when I was six. I don’t remember if my mom walked me to the stop in the morning though.

Depends on neighborhood and distance I think, but my 9 and 11 year old walk to and from school by themselves. We live in a pretty safe area and the school is just a couple of blocks away.

At least where I live I could never let her go anywhere alone my parents let me walk to school once and I got followed the whole way and when I got out of school the same guy followed me I had to run back to the school and call my mom to pick me up , They ended up putting out a warning on that guy and his car that he was following little girls around , Even if I am watching her from afar one split second is all it takes 😭

Not sure, every kid is different and so is every neighborhood. My school requires kindergartners and 1st graders to have someone at drop off and pick up. After that my mom took us to drop off until middle school but let us walk home alone. There were about 20 kids at our stop though and plenty of other parents my mom was friendly with to keep an eye on us.

Depends on the age.  Our schools here require an adult at every drop off and pickup all the way through elementary school though
