I thought boy because of the spelling, but I’ve only ever know a girl named Rowynn. I’ve never actually met a boy with that name yet. I really think it could go either way.

It was traditionally an Irish boys name but recently has been gaining popularity for girls. It feels like lots of boys names are being taken over by girls though. We almost named our first boy Rowan. I think the female spelling is often changed to Rowen.
