Getting Induced

I went to the doctor today (Wednesday) for my 40 week check up. Everything was going ok. We agreed to set an induction date of Sunday based on availability. I was 2cm dilated & about 70% effaced. Non stress test was good. Then she checked my amniotic fluid & said based upon my induction date, there’s no way to tell if I go home rather or not I’ll have enough fluid to last till Sunday. She said most of the time babies do fine but you do run the risk of the placenta not doing a good job since I’ll be 41 weeks. So with tht being said, I’m in the hospital being induced. They’ve started cervidil. I really didn’t want to be induced. I wish I would’ve taken more time to think about it honestly.
