Question to those who needed 2+ FETS…

Today I got the unfortunate news that my first transfer was unsuccessful. I’m sad and frustrated and disappointed, of course. But I’m also a little lost on where to go from here. I will talk to my doctor next week, but for those who have walked this path already, did anything change for your 2nd FET protocol…did you do an ERA or other testing? I’m suspecting my doctor will want me to try again because we luckily have many embryos, but we can’t know if this 1st transfer was an abnormal embryo, if my lining was pre/post receptive, if the 5cm fibroid they know I have affected implantation etc. & so with nothing to help us improve the next transfer I struggle with next step should be. Maybe I’m just in too negative a mindset today, but hopefully my question makes sense.

Basically I’m just curious how others went into their 2nd transfer, what could adjust & what I might ask my doc when I do speak with him. Thanks!
