He called me another woman’s name THREE times

So I’ve been single because I broke up with my boyfriend before the pandemic and decided to be on my own. I haven’t gone on any dates because I’ve been social distancing, recently I got vaccinated and decided to give online dating a try. I matched with this really cute guy on tinder, he told me I was gorgeous. Our first FaceTime was great and no tension. We set to meet in the city at a restaurant. We got food, throughout the date we were talking, but at certain points of our conversation throughout the night — he called me “Laila” which isn’t my name at all. But the vibe was so great I ended up kissing him for the majority of the night after our dinner, I really like him & he apologized and said he was a little stuck on his ex but he’s gonna try hard to move past it for me. I told my friend about the situation and she told me I was an idiot, and I shouldn’t be dealing with a dude whose stuck on his ex. But he seemed really sincere when he apologized. Should I leave him alone? He’s so cute
