I am prescribed a very low dose of diazepam for anxiety during pregnancy. It’s a long story but I have pretty severe white coat syndrome caused by my last pregnancy. My OB and therapist recommended a small dose of medicine to help me and honestly it’s been a lifesaver. I literally take 2mgs only for appointments. My question is about drug testing after the baby is born. I’ve heard these crazy stories about a mom failing so they call cps and take the baby away. If you’re prescribed something and test positive is that the same? Again my doctors know I take this and it’s documented in my health charts. Probably my anxiety talking but I’m due in 3 weeks and just thought how terrible that would be! I think as I type this it sounds silly but any insight would be great!
