When should I pack my hospital bags

I’m 36w4 I get induced on the 19th and my birthday is on the 16th and I still think it’s a little to early to set everything up now, I have everything that’s needed for the baby except some last minute shopping things for me. His bed has been set up in my room since 20w along with everything he needs. When should I start arranging things and packing bags? Also still haven’t washed his clothes, am I waiting too long? And what else should I be doing ?

U can pack ur bag whenever u want, there’s no specific timeline.

I’d do it now. With my daughter, i was overdue and had to be induced so I had time. With my son my water broke at 39 weeks 1 day and I didn’t have it packed.

I would do it whenever you have the energy for it. So the sooner the better haha. My energy is gone at 38 weeks. I was dragging my feet on packing, but we finally did at 37 weeks. Had I done it earlier though it probably wouldn't have felt like such a chore

For what it’s worth I had to be induced with my first because he was eight days late, so with my second I assumed I had plenty of time to pack, but my water broke I’m the middle of the night at 37 weeks I was totally in prepared so I recommend doing it now just for peace of mind!

You can pack whenever you want. I was packed (essentials only) and 100% ready for baby at 32 weeks this time. My first was premature and we were not prepared so I over prepared. Once we got to 39 weeks I added some non-essential items to the bag which was good because I went into labor over night that day/following morning.
