Can anyone tell me what this is on the roof of my mouth?

I noticed I have this red spot on the roof of my mouth that when I apply pressure on it it hurts. Does anyone know what it might be?

Looks like a cut / bruise from food. Can come from hard candy, nuts, even bread crust. Will heal in a few days
