Has pumping ACTUALLY increased your milk supply???

I am pumping to increase my supply since my baby was three months and see a small increase but am also taking a prescription to help increase it. Have any of you actually see a increase when you pump a couple of days??

Yes.  Your pump needs to fit you properly though (flange size) and have parts replaced as you use it though in order for it to function efficiently and help.  Any milk removal will signal your body to make more milk though.

Not sure if this helps, but my son was in the NICU for 17 days, so I had to establish and increase my supply by pumping alone (he was given the milk via feeding tube after he was taken off the cooling bed), then transitioned to breastfeeding when he came home..
