infection on piercing ?

is this normal?? i got it pierced a week and half ago i’ve done everything as the piercer said to do for cleaning! i just move it while cleaning it. i don’t have ooz or itching or anything ! i get tiny bit of crust but that’s it.

This exact reaction happened to me. I ended up taking it out and now I have a scar

Keep cleaning it and moving it when you do, it should clear up. I had mine done many years ago and was told to clean it with warm salt water and a q-tip (not sure how you clean yours). Keep at it and don’t worry too much. (Had mine pierced for 17 years, only took it out due to my growing pregnant belly)

could be normal mines got badly infected but i blame myself for that but a warm salt water rinse wouldnt hurt if  it is the start of an infection

It’s still fairly fresh so the redness could just be it healing. Don’t move it to much. Crusty can be normal. My Medusa had it for months until it fully healed. What type of metal were you pierced with? What are you using to clean with? Could be the metal type/lower quality jewelry causing irritation. You should definitely check in with a reputable piercer if you think something is off.
