Bassinet to crib

I'm gonna have to move my baby from his bassinet in my room into his crib in another room. He's trying to turn in it while awake. He sleeps with a halo on right now though should I take him out of that for sleeping in his crib? He's also scooting himself around so much he's pressing his up against the bars/board of the bed, in and out of the halo.

I do need to get a new monitor for his room the one we have from my first lags, will go black and still work, and signal will also cut out so don't like the idea of putting him in crib until that's replaced either.

He's been super fussy this last month and has also been teething for at least two months already. So different from my first who was so calm until toddler years.
