Weird results on blood test? Has anyone heard of VARICELLA ZOSTER VIRUS ANTIBODY ?

I got this result with my blood tests today and I don’t understand it, when I google it it talks about shingles… I’ve never had chicken pox or shingles. They told me I’m due for my next chicken pox booster so could it be showing up because I haven’t gotten my next booster? I’m so confused. My next prenatal appointment isn’t until July 28th.

Basically, it means you have not developed the immunity to chicken pox most kids did when they got them in childhood, and you need the varicella booster to protect you.

If I’m reading this right, it means you do NOT have antibodies for chicken pox or shingles (which would make sense if you never had it) and that they may recommend you get the vaccines to build that immunity.

Aren’t antibodies good? Idk but I think it’s probably present from like vaccinations. You mentioned chicken pox; so I think you’ve got antibodies from chicken pox vaccine. I’m fairly certain antibodies are the things that fight illnesses

This means enough antibodies weren’t detected to reflect immunity. Mine did the same with rubella. I was vaccinated as a child but after having my initial OB blood work they do at the beginning of every pregnancy, they told me the only thing that came back abnormal was that I wasn’t showing being immune to rubella.  They’d aid no biggie, I’ll just need to be re-vaccinated after pregnancy.

At my last appointment (at 17w 4d) I was given the same results and my doctor told me I needed to get the chicken pox booster after giving birth. She said it meant I've never had chicken pox and needed the shot (which is fine with me) but I'm so confused because about 5 years ago I actually got shingles. Diagnosed by an actual doctor, not Dr google.
