Hello everyone! First time mom here and boy has breastfeeding been the hardest thing I have ever done.

My current question is about this weird pain I get in both my breasts every hour or so. I’m 5 weeks postpartum and breastfeed on demand at night then pump every 3-4 hours during the day so dad can bottle feed. Baby latches fine and there’s no pain during feeding time but every hour or so I get what feels like a stabby pain that radiates through both breasts. It lasts for a few seconds and then goes away.

One of my nipples is also sore but I think that stems from an incorrectly sized flange that I’ll be replacing for the next session.

Has anyone else experienced this?
