My brother and I was having a conversation with him asking if he could get my son who is 3yrs old because he's been acting up a tad bit. I just gave birth to my daughter 3 weeks ago and he says he just wants to help. I told him I would see what my husband thinks and get back with him. Well my husband doesn't feel comfortable with our son going with my brother due to him living 3 hrs away.

I told my brother that and he says I'm trying to keep his nephew away from him and he's trying to help me by keeping him for a few days. Yes I would like a break, but have to respect my husband's decision. I also don't feel comfortable with having him away from home due to the distance.

I love my brother to death but wish he understood where we are coming from. He kind of verbally attacked me through text and I just stopped responding. Am I overreacting? How would you guys responded? I felt like the conversation should of went smoothly and hope it doesn't mess up our relationship.
