Anterior placenta but can feel baby move

B

I had my 20wk scan two days ago and was told I have an anterior placenta. I was told it’s nothing to worry about and the most important thing to know is that it may cause interference with feeling baby’s movements until about week 24.

I swear I’ve felt movements starting about a week ago! Now I’m a little bummed and maybe I was just imagining things? I didn’t mention this to the doctor because I didn’t want to feel dumb. I’m pretty sure it was baby though. Felt like gas bubbles…but no gas 😄. I’ve continued to feel this type of movement a few times a day, especially when I lay down or am still.

They did say baby is measuring big so maybe he’s a strong one and that’s why I’m able to feel him move? Not sure but was a little bummed to hear about AP nonetheless.

What are your experiences having an AP? Bad good neutral?
