trigger warning : sexual assault

i’m putting the trigger warning in the title because i don’t want to censor myself while writing this because i really need help.

so yesterday, i went to the beach with my best friend, her boyfriend (who i’m also friends with) and his friend (i didn’t know him but he was basically there so that we could hook up) and we got to the beach and everything was fine, we drank quite a bit and everyone was pretty drunk. my friend and her boyfriend started hooking up in their tent so me and the friend did the same (i made the first move and kissed him), we ended up having penetrative sex, which even though we were both a bit drunk, we both consented. he finished on my stomach and then we went to check on my friend and her boyfriend but they weren’t finished so we closed the tent and chilled for a bit. a little bit of time passed and i kissed him and he started to finger me, it was alright at first, but then he got a bit too rough. i told him to stop and he didn’t, i tried to move his hand away and, again, he kept going. eventually after about 10 minutes of me telling him to stop, he stopped. he only stopped because he thought that i finished, not because i told him too. i didn’t think much about it until today, i woke up and i was in a lot of pain and it was really hard to sit. i didn’t remember much of the night before, i also didn’t remember much about hooking up with the guy, until my friend and her boyfriend came over to mine and her boyfriend was saying “yeah, he was saying some stuff yesterday, like how u didn’t start moaning until he used 3 fingers” which is when i realised that i wasn’t moaning, i was telling him to stop. i thought about it a bit and realised that what happened was actually kind of fucked up. i told my friend and her boyfriend about it and they also thought it was fucked up. so i sent the guy a message kinda like “hey u did something yesterday that was kinda fucked up, i told you to stop and you didn’t” and he apologised a lot, agreed that what he did was fucked but said that he couldn’t hear me say stop.

TL;DR - i had sex with a guy, then he fingered me, got too rough and i told him to stop but he didn’t stop. he claims he didn’t hear me say stop.

so basically what i wanna know is, was i sexually assaulted? i genuinely don’t think the guy meant to hurt me but he really did, emotionally and physically. pls help
