Double stroller or no?

Question

I know this gets brought up often…
My daughter will be two in October. Baby #2 is due in January 2022. I will be having a C-section. 
If you had littles with a similar age gap, did you opt for a double stroller? Was it a tandem or side-by-side? 
I’m also not opposed to wearing the new baby in a carrier and having my daughter in a single stroller. 
What worked best for y’all?

Definitely go with a double stroller side by side .it allows you to control the situation more an keep an eye on both at the same time. Couldn't find the one that I exact got but this is similar to it. The higher the weight limit the better they are and the longer they're going to last.

We have this one and also purchased the standing board for my older daughter. My babies are 16 months apart (currently 28 months and almost 12 months). It’s been amazing. I can’t imagine not having a double stroller

We got the double mockingbird.  Super cheap and I’ve heard such good things about it!!!  But my review is TBD. I think we have maybe a month left til it’s delivered!

My son turned 2 in March, my daughter is 1 month. I’m already finding a double stroller useful, even just to walk around the neighborhood. I got a gently used tandem stroller for $50 off of FB marketplace. It’s really adaptable, I can have 2 stroller seats set up, or one and click the car seat in, or turn one of the seats into a bench seat that my toddler can hop up and down from. I think we’ll get a lot of use out of it in the next couple of years.

Absolutely, always recommend a double. My kids are almost 3 years apart and always in the stroller: now 4 and 1. This one is GREAT because it has a the toddler seat plus bench seat plus child can stand. I actually used it as a triple! I love it

I used the Baby Trend Sit N Stand stroller when my son was born. My daughter was 3yrs old at the time and had a love/hate relationship with sitting in a stroller (as most toddlers do lol). It gave her the freedom to walk or to ride. I also used a baby wrap with my son quite a bit and just put my daughter in a little umbrella stroller. I don’t think anybody likes those huge side-by-side strollers that take up an entire store aisle. I have seen clips you can buy that attach two umbrella strollers together. That would give some versatility.

The age gap between my 2 babies is 14 months! So you can imagine. In the beginning we would wear newborn and push my son in the stroller but now he is more active at 3 months so we are using the double. I love the storage space with this stroller. However expect this thing to take up space because regardless of which stroller you go with they are big. I recommend watching a video of this stroller on YouTube. It helped me make the decision.

Have it. Love it. My son was almost 2 1/2 when I had mine and I had the same question!
For me it was between a wagon and a double. I got this one due to price. 
It came with
1.stroller frame
2. "Toddler" seat (turns into bassinet)
3. Infant car seat
4. Car seat base
In my opinion, you can't beat the price. 
Also had HUGE storage compartment, you can literally fit another child down there 🤣
And you can configure it a million different ways. (So you can use it as a single stroller)
Also has adjustable handle bar
Cons:
I'm little, so the frame is a little heavy
-the frame is also a smig wonky if I'm honest, but I never felt the kids were in danger
-not super compact 
-the cupholder is a joke 😂
But again, for the price, I feel like I hit the jackpot 
Also for credibility, I'm on my 3rd, and had a Britax car seat and stroller for my first. 
I also ended up getting a radio flyer wagon from Walmart for $98, once the baby was a little older. LOVE, and I can put the car seat in it if I want. Buuut definitely do not regret the stroller, the fact that it can be a single or double is the kicker for me + the storage space 🤤
