I want to lose about 1 lb a week which will put me at about 130 for my wedding in 19 months

I understand that in order to lose a lb a week I’d have to burn like 3,500 a week because 3,500 calories is 1 lbs

Does that mean I have to work out and burn 500 from working out?? Or just 500 calories in total for the day??

Because I’m pretty sure your body naturally burns over 1000 calories just from living lmao right??
