Has anyone broke up with their boyfriend for a span of time ( a couple months) to learn that they love them even more? Me and my boyfriend broke up for 6 months and just got back together in March over a simple apology and some effort and we are happier than ever and our relationship is so much stronger.

This happened with my then boyfriend but now husband. We had a break for a short while maybe a month and gave each other some space. Didn’t do anything with anyone else but kind of got our shit together while on our break. We then found a place and moved in together and had a fresh start all over again. Our love is stronger than ever and we have grown a lot closer. 2 kids and one on the way. I believe space can make you see how much you love that person and want them in your life to feel complete.

My SO and I had been together for 5 years before we broke up. No one wronged each other. We just were growing apart. 3 years later we decided to get back together. It’s been 6 years now and we are happier than ever with 2 boys.
