How often did you have sex when TTC?

Maybe this is a stupid question but did you do it every day? Or multiple times a day? I’m on day 2 of my ‘fertile window’ and we’ve been doing it every day for the past week and will probably continue for the next week… this is my first time TTC and I’m nervous

My OB actually advised every other day from CD 10 to 21 so that’s what we did. Every day was just too much and it started feeling like a chore.

My husband has a lower sex drive, my dr said every other day should be plenty since sperm can live up to 5 days after sex- thanks to her listening to me and putting me on meds my last dr wouldn’t we got pregnant the first month! Obv not the story for everyone (or even us tbh, we’ve been waiting so long) but kind of nice to hear from her that we didn’t have to become sex crazed when that’s just not us.

I did it every other day/ twice a day. Idk where I read that morning ejaculation is more potent or maybe it’s in my head but I went with it lol.

Are you tracking ovulation with opks? My doctor said that every other day is perfect and there’s no need to have sex every day. The day before ovulation is the most important. 
FYI if you’re just going by the app…it has never been right for me. It’s just a guess. Opks are cheap and will help you track. Good luck!

I suggest having sex the day you get your OPK surge and the next 2-3 days.

We never do multiple times a day when ttc. Only when not ttc. I’ve gotten pregnant 1 cycle every time, we have sex starting when my period ends. Every other day or 2 days until next is due. We don’t do everyday. I don’t use opks or bbt. We just have sex if we want to. Sometimes because of schedules we had to skip 3 days.
