Is this age gap too big for a relationship? I’m 19 he’s 23

I turned 19 last week and he’s 23 years old. I would say I’m mature for age although I’m still wanting to go and party. 
Also he may be looking for a long deep relationship

The age here isn’t the issue it’s more of what you both want. If you’re young & wanting to party & what not that’s somewhat saying you’re not wanting to be tied down right now (which is understandable you are YOUNG) but you need to make sure if you guys are gonna deal with each other you’re on the same page. Or just consider a friendship. 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s the same gap between my husband and I.  It’s never been an issue. 
Are you saying he wants to settle and you don’t? That’s the actual issue.

I was 19 and my man was 28. Fucking love of my life.  And it works. 
If he wants you only bc you’re younger that’s an issue. It’s an issue if he wants to make you into the type of person he wants. If he belittles you it’s wrong. If he has different goals/values it’s an issue. Etc.

My boyfriend and I were those same ages when we met and started dating. He was a month away from being 23 when we met and we started dating after his birthday. I don’t think it’s too big of an age gap. He and I are in slightly different points in our life (I’m a junior in college and he’s in his second year in his career) but it’s not an irreparable difference. I think it just depends on the couple.

Its the same age gap that me and my bf have. (Im 21, he's 25) There's nothing wrong with it. Just make sure you both want the same things out of the relationship.
