Date ideas

Hey guys my bf and I wanted to do something special just for fun, not any occasion and we need ideas LOL. I wanted to go to universal studios but the tickets are ridiculously expensive.... no to disneyland, thinking of the zoo but we already went there awhile back. U guys have any ideas? We’re in San Diego but he also has an apartment in LA. So any really cool hike places/date ideas/activities/ideas etc would be appreciated! Always down for a day road trip too.
