Hello I’m 15 weeks pregnant I stop working because I started to black out at work n throwing up a lot. I’m thinking about signing up for wic or food stamps because I don’t have a income at the time but  I don’t know much about wic and I have questions about it so if it’s possible can you ladies answer a few of them got me and let me know a little more information about it . 
How many months I have to be to apply for wic ? 
How do I apply for wic ?
Can I get food stamps without putting my child’s father on child support?

You can apply for WIC the minute sperm meets egg lol they just ask what’s your estimated due date. Usually your state has a hotline number you can call to see what your nearest WIC clinic is- might have to look that up online.

You can get wic the second you find out you're pregnant. If you qualify for WIC theres a higher chance you also qualify for food stamps. It is income based but since you currently don't have an income, you likely qualify. Once baby is born they'll take baby's info and add them as a second person on the food stamps so you'll get more. You can also use food stamps for formula (if you go that route) also at least in my state if you qualify for food stamps you automatically qualify for state insurance. You and baby will both be covered. I'm not sure about the child support. But I had my daughter and I on food stamps and state insurance and they never asked me about filing child support so I'm pretty sure you can get them without putting dad on child support.

I got wic the same day I applied. And for food stamps it is income based. Since you haven’t had your baby yet I don’t think they can make you put him on child support because there is no baby living to support and no way to validate paternity. I’m not 100 percent sure I’m speaking from my own experience but go ahead it can’t hurt to try. If they say no you will be in the same position but I think with the no income it will work in your favor.

I’m pretty sure most of that stuff goes through welfare, your health department or social services depending where you live, but usually welfare is a good place to start. I would check Goodwill or Facebook marketplace or churches for baby items strollers pack and play car seats, etc. there’s also a program called TANF which is temporary assistance for needy families, if you don’t have a vehicle get on the list at Salvation Army, Welfare can also provide section 8 for transitional housing, state fund a daycare, Obama cell phone, or Biden whatever, Medicaid for insurance, free or reduced lunch for children of school-age, there are tons and tons of government programs you just have to reach out, welfare should have a list￼. And right now with the pandemic, if you reach out to the formula companies they are providing formula, there’s agencies like children’s future they help with diapers and toys, Catholic charities is great for energy and rental assistance, they also have shelters and therapy, same thing for your local churches, they have food banks or food pantries, the women usually are helpful with baby items, goodwill is great for clothing and furniture, so are the churches, everybody always has stuff in their basement that they’re getting rid of, also for therapy, Set up a game plan and get yourself situated.￼
