When did you first feel your baby kick?

I’m pregnant with my first and I’m 17 weeks. Some apps have told me between 16-20 weeks I could start feeling baby kick (although later for some) so I’m just curious when y’all felt your baby kick in first pregnancy? Also, what does it feel like? Can you easily tell it was a kick? So excited for when that comes! :)

I felt my son pretty early around 14 weeks but it doesn’t feel like kicks in the beginning so it’s easy to overlook. It feels more like little waves in your belly or bubbles popping...in the beginning it’s quite easy to confuse with bowel movement though 😅 try to be patient you’ll feel it soon 😊 for me it helped when I went to bed to lay on my back for a few minutes an then he’d start moving 😊

I think i felt kicks around 22 weeks. I think i felt them before but it was noticeable that it was baby kicks at 22 weeks

I’m going to be a first time mom and this is my first pregnancy that I’ve made it to the 2nd trimester. The first time I ever felt a flutter I was 15 weeks exactly, but it was so tiny that it was hardly there and if I wasn’t sitting still I wouldn’t have noticed. I didn’t feel anything after that until about 16 and a half weeks, and it was definitely more noticeable then. It’s in the area that I usually feel gas bubbles, but it’s a different feeling than gas. It’s like tiny little pokes and pops. I saw one woman on here explain it like imagine a fish in a bag of water swimming into the plastic and poking it with his nose. I’ve felt it quite often since then, mostly after I eat dinner or sit still for awhile. I had a strong feeling it was baby, and was never really positive until I got to actually see the tiny kicks yesterday at 18 weeks and 3 days!
