More steps backwards in education...

I have been hearing about this on podcasts and the news but saw more about it today. Feels like they are taking the CRT fight and running.with it because they can and no other reason. We send kids to school to learn...that should include the good, bad, dark and light parts of history, and those of other colors/races/cultures/identities. What good comes out of banning the teachings of MLK jr?? Or just avoiding teaching Native American history when that is the epitome of our history...it is our oldest history. Hoping this gets overturned because this to me does nothing but bad. What are others thoughts....my thought is this is gross and just sad.
