Mini birth story: I wanted an epidural birth, but ended up in active labor for 30 minutes and two pushes! I begged for any pain meds once my water broke and the midwife said to me “Kira, your babies head is in my hands, you’ve got this” and I cried in pain and shock that only 30 minutes ago I was feeling so fine with the contractions and was only 5cm dilated. I guess second babies really do deliver a lot faster! Before I knew it I caught my baby and she was in my arms with zero pain medication! It was the craziest most chaotic, painful, and beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced!
