Well it happened, was prescribed metformin to help control my fasting numbers. Still controlling everything else with diet. Lasted 4 weeks and have another 5 to go at most. I am curious, for the moms who are on it, do you have any side effects? If so, what are they? I’ll be started on the lowest dose there is so I’m hoping there aren’t many. I also have to start going weekly to my MFM dr for biophysical profile appointments. Can anyone tell me what they do in these appts because she said I need to expect to be there for 1-1.5 hours each visit but didn’t tell me why I would be there for so long.
