My husband and I have been together for 5 years. I met him when I was a senior in college and he was working at a school. He has always presented himself as a college graduate of my alma mater, but I recently found out that he is not.

The truth is, he went to my college but never graduated and I found it out by calling the university myself and impersonating him. They claim they have no record of him being enrolled in classes past 2011 (he has always claimed that he graduated in 2014). When I confronted him, he acted like he didn’t know what they were talking about but it was clear that he was shocked that I found out.

Here’s the thing. I am bothered by the fact that he lied, not the fact that he doesn’t have a degree. It makes me wonder what else he has lied to me about. I have considered divorce behind this but I am on the fence. We have a 5 month old son together.

What do you guys think I should do?? He still isn’t really coming clean but it’s very obvious that he feels bad and is trying to kiss my ass without directly addressing the issue.
