Where do your babies sit?

My LO goes from bouncer to swing when she isn’t doing tummy time. I am starting to feel bad that she is just on her own when I am cleaning up or just taking a break.

Answer

I do all my housework and exercise cook shower etc when baby is sleeping. When he is awake he is usually in his room having floor time (he loves it in there) or in his bouncer, or I’ll read him book etc.
Mind you he is a good mapper and naps from 1-2 hours at a time and self soothes so I get lots of time to do things when he sleeps.
I want to make sure o make the most of his awake time and interact with him.

My daughter takes long naps in her swing so that’s when I try to get most of my housework done. When she’s awake she is happy laying/rolling around on her play mat or on the bed while I’m folding laundry. She’s not a huge fan of the bouncer, but I do use it sometimes when I shower because it’s easy to move into the bathroom. 
Don’t feel bad at all for leaving her alone to get things done! It’s good for them to have time to themselves just as much as it’s good to read and interact with them. Your routine sounds perfect and normal!

Pretty much the same here. When he gets fussy from being in swing or bouncer I sit with him on the couch or we go outside while I play and talk with him. Sometimes if he’s in good mood I’ll lay him in pack n play and play with him while he’s in there. Don’t feel bad for taking breaks when you need them. Your child will be fine in bouncer or swing while you have some time for yourself or cleaning.
