How do you feel about your SO being friends with random women on social media?

I trust my current boyfriend of 2 years but I do have trust issues in general that I try really hard to work on but it’s honestly something that I need to actively check myself on. I was cheated on by my last 2 ex boyfriends. I trust my current boyfriend who is great to me but in the back of my head I haven’t been able to fully let my guard down. 
I was looking up a new friend on Instagram and you know how they auto suggest well some girl came up and our only mutual was my boyfriend so I clicked on the page and he liked a few of her pictures. His liked pictures of her are only recent so they haven’t been friends for long. I trust that he’s not doing anything but why be instagram friends with her? What is the intention? Is he trying to be real life friends with her? Is he trying to keep his options open? Was he just feeling flirty? Did she follow him first? Ughhhhh I feel CRAZY. He also doesn’t randomly follow a bunch of girls in bikinis or anything at all.
Just wondering if this is one of my crazy moments or should I talk to him about it?

I don't have random guy friends on my Facebook.. and neither does my husband.. I wouldn't like it if my husband liked or commented on a random woman.. it's opening things up.. he also wouldn't like it if I did.. set ur boundaries.. and if ur not happy.. speak up.

Read your first sentence. Obviously you don’t trust him…. if you have trust issues to the point where you’re snooping around someone’s profile when you see he’s friends with a girl on social media then you don’t trust him. Why don’t you just ask him and talk to him about how you feel.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with befriending people on social media, it all just depends on what boundaries you have in place. Since my husband and I have been together we’ve never had friends of the opposite gender, so if he randomly friended some girl who I’ve never heard of it would be completely out of the normal for us and I would be asking about her/how they met.

I feel like that is a good conversation to hsve with your partner. He could just be friends with her but it doesnt hurt to ask.

If you trust him then trust him. Start working on yourself and practice trust.
Which means no do not question him over some random social media girl. Trust him until he give you a reason not to. 
I get it's hard but if he is a faithful guy don't ruin it by accusations or unnecessary claims/questions

I’m not his baby sitter so he can friend whomever he chooses. I do the same. And after seeing how my husband likes things on IG this man is insane 😂😂😂 it’s only memes!

But obviously don’t assume they are talking, you could bring it up and be like hey I saw you liking her pics but then again what is he going to say to that? It seems like a dead end, so your best luck is to just forget about it
