Really confused about ovulation tests

So I’m using the clear blue advanced tests, Saturday I got the smiley face, the solid one for peak fertility I got that one for like three days. Then I re tested and got a negative. Today I had some cramping so I tested again and now I have high fertility? I feel like something is off.
