I’ve been dating this guy for four months now. Just recently he started complaining of tingling and itching in his urethra.

He blamed me for sleeping with someone else but I haven’t. Right before me and him met I also got tested for everything and was negative.

Today he went to the drs and tested positive for a UTI. He got tested for other STDs but the results won’t be back for another 4-5 days.

Could an STD trigger a UTI to be a positive test? Is it possible for him to have chlamydia and test positive for a uti?

Also is it possible for him to have had an std if that’s the case for 4 months now and barely have symptoms?

Side note: I haven’t had any symptoms and yes I will be getting tested as well to be on the safe side.
