I do all of these things, but I am not the "default parent" and take issue with that phrasing. My husband and I are a team, and we've divided responsibilities in a way that makes sense for us and we are both happy with.

I do a lot of those things, but I also work full time and my husband is a stay at home dad, so he is also certainly doing some of those things. So it's not that simple?

Default parent as well as the only parent as “dad” walked out a few days ago and won’t contact his kids
