So I have been having a hard time dealing with my mother in law. I don’t know, I feel like that is kind of a common thing though. She’s driving me insane. My husband left for boot camp 4 months ago. During him being away she always told me that if I needed to get out, wanted to spend time with her, etc that she would come get me. That was a lie, anytime I had severe family problems and just needed to escape she told me that I would be fine and that she wasn’t going to get me, anytime we made plans she couldn’t follow through with them. Eventually my husband had to be medically discharged from basic because of medical issues. So he’s home now and we are both living in her basement until we can find a place to live. My husband and his mother have never been close at all. But suddenly she has felt the need to be apart of his life. All the time 😩🙄. When he was at boot camp she was weirdly sending him photos of just herself. Like selfies. These are photos of her trying to act younger. Well anyways since us living here (it’s only been 4 days of living here) she has yelled at us constantly because she doesn’t like the way either one of us dress. She made me buy all new clothes because she says I dress like a slum. Keep in mind where I live it’s incredibly hot, I’m overweight and can’t handle the heat so I’m just trying to be comfortable. But she says that now that I’m married I need to dress to let people know I’m married and represent my husband. She yelled at him for wearing a white t shirt and jeans but was fine when he simply changed into a black t shirt. We barely eat with in a day. Like right now it’s almost 6:30 pm and I haven’t eaten all day. Goes for the past 3 days I’ve been here. I barely have eaten but when I do try to eat she looks at me like I’m crazy. I’m so ready to get the helm out of here. It’s to the point that I myself have started looking for places for us to live
