My husband has chronic depression, and has been on a combination of Mitazapine and Citalopram for his depression.

We have noticed for a while that he has struggled to ejaculate but could get an erection, but over the last few months we’ve noticed that he’s struggling to have any sex drive at all.

We went away for our wedding anniversary and did nothing (despite me pulling out all the stops and wearing sexy underwear etc)

I feel awful. My husband felt guilty because we couldn’t do anything due to him not being able to get aroused (but he’s said he finds me very attractive) but because of these pills nothing happens downstairs 🤦🏻‍♀️

What can we do?

We’ve spoke to the GP and they’ve said it’s a side effect of the medication, but surly we can’t go on like this forever?!

Please help!
