Ok ladies im sick of shaving the bodyyyy! Especially the lady bits😭😭 it grows back too fast !
Is waxing any better? Where do yall do it? What kinda wax for the body and lady bits? Does it hurt? Is it awkward? How fast does it grow back😭😭
Im a year postpartum and just wanna treat myself! I did have a third degree tear/episiotomy which obviously healed, but that shouldnt affect getting waxed does it??😭😭
Also side question: how do u ladies keep it smelling good down there? And yes, your girl is about to get some actions after so goddamn long and I want it smelling good and lookin gooood🙈🙈🙈

i don’t have advice on waxing, but i wouldn’t put any smell goods down there or perfume/sprays, instead eat lots of pineapples beforehand 😜 it’ll make you taste and smell sweet, or just put lotion on your legs

I tried getting waxed once... hated it, ended up stopping the session before she really got going because it hurt too much. I'm doing laser removal now and I can honestly say the laser doesn't hurt as much as the wax did. Plus it's more permanent. My under arms only took a few treatments for me to see how much finer the hair was. I'm behind on the full bikini (thanks aunt flow) so not as much difference on that area. Plus they can prescribe a numbing cream for you to put on before your appointment, haven't used it yet.

Waxing is 1,000x better than shaving. It hurts, but it doesn’t last too long and the more you do it, the less it actually hurts, hair comes back finer. It lasts about four weeks. Most studios offer soft wax with cloth strips, hard wax, and sugaring. For me, I find the hard wax to be the least painful. Some women say sugaring hurts less but for me that was almost worse than childbirth lol. I made her stop halfway and switch to wax.

Waxing is great!  I have been waxing since puberty— “Brazilian” is the only way to go IMO. Depending on your skin, your aesthetician will choose the right wax. I started with hard wax, because my skin is very sensitive (in my experience it is a little less painful). Now, after years of waxing I fine with hard wax or strip wax.  Also, after time, the hair stops growing back as much. It is painful at first, but worth it!  Your skin will be smooth and clean. I have no idea why anyone would ever use a razor on such delicate skin.  Good luck!!!!  You’re going to love it!

I did a wax once and won’t ever do it again. So painful! And I delivered my 2nd baby without an epidural and would rather do that again than get waxed.

Yes I'd recommend laser hair removal but of your wanting more kids then I'd wait until you were done having kids, something about pregnancy can make all the progress you've made with laser hair removal grow back, not sure why but yeah in the meantime waxing has much better results then shaving. It hurts, I have a sort of high pain tolerance and it made me want to stop half way. If you can get your hands on a numbing cream and put it on an hour before your session then I've heard that helps, but the results are great and last so much longer then shaving! Your first time, I'd go and get it done by someone just because it can be hard doing it yourself and you can cause ingrown hairs if you don't pull the hair off right.

Ofcourse I prefer laser over waxing because it doesn’t hurt but you still got to shave before you laser. I think it’s like a week or something I forgot but I had to shave, stay out the sun (not tan) and then go get lasered and stay out the sun again for 2 weeks. The hair is suppose to fall off and stay off for about 6 weeks. Then you have to keep going back. I only went for about 3-4 sessions and my hair grew back in patches. I did my armpits, legs and Brazilian all the time. Which was around $150 everytime and that was with a discount. I started doing wax cause the place I went to charged $25 for armpits and Brazilian. My legs weren’t that much of an issue, I can shave but ingrowns are a lot worse around my bikini area and armpits so I don’t like to shave those. I also have dark hair so my laser sessions I have to go back like 10 more times to permanently stop them. They don’t really stop but just take a lot longer to grow back. At first the wax does hurt so brace yourself, I remember my hands were sweating haha. But then going ever 4-5 weeks, you get use to it. Just make sure to exfoliate before and after and if you get irritated like swell up, use an ice pack around those waxed parts lol
