Why is the vagina so good at healing?

I accidentally burned my outter labia because I didn’t know I would have a severe allergic reaction/chemical burn to the nair that’s specifically for the bikini area. The burn is on the outter labia because when it started burning 30 seconds in, I got up, and it all just smeared everywhere and I got in the shower and I couldn’t rub this shit off. It just felt like it was soaking deeper into my skin if I touched it so I had to stand there and spray my burning coochie at the highest power my shower head would go and just aim right.

In Short, my attempts to get this shit off of me just led to more sensitive skin being burned.

It was BAD, my skin came off and was oozing blood. 2-3 days later and it’s like.. it just took care of itself. Obviously it’s still irritated and I have to keep it dry and clean, but.. it just healed up INCREDIBLY fast. I feel like in a few days I could forget this ever happened. I WONT, because it was AWFUL.. but it ended well and I just had to tell y’all

It was embarrassing af that I had to come here and ask for advice because it was during the weekend and my gyno wasn’t open and my primary care doctor took a whole ass vacation to Hawaii... anyways, none of you made me feel bad. Just wished me well and gave advice so you deserve an update 🥺
