Switching gynos?
Has anyone here switched obgyns late into the pregnancy. We moved and I can't drive 2 hours out of town to go to my obgyn. My current obgyn said that no one will allow a transfer after 28 weeks and I'm almost 34. He also doesn't listen to what I say or ask for. He told me I couldnt do delayed cord clamping nor could I ask to not be induced. When I talked to him in the beginning he said I wouldn't be forced to be induced and I could do delayed cord clamping unless medically necessary. We don't have a reliable car to go 2 hours there and back once a week 😅 I also don't feel comfortable driving two hours to the hospital in active labor. But for my insurance I have to have a transfer by my old doctor and he won't do it. Any advice on what to do or how else I can do it? Can I ask my normal doctor for a transfer?
