If your child goes to daycare, have they caught COVID there?

How many hours a day do the keep their masks off indoors? I need to start my daughter at daycare and I’m super worried about her catching Covid there… Especially with Delta now. The kids are unmasked indoors 4 hours a day (snacks, meals, and quiet time) and 1 hour outside which I’m not concerned about.

My toddler has gone to daycare throughout COVID and they did temperature checks every morning and asked the routine COVID questions. The adults wore masks, but not the children.

Kids seem to get the better end of the stick regarding Covid. My husband and I both had it and had to keep our two year old with us the whole two weeks. Even though he tested negative when we tested positive. 
I’ll never know if he ever caught it or not. He was literally his same exact self the whole time with zero symptoms.

My 3yo goes to a home daycare, for 8-9 hours a day M-F. The kids range in age from infant to 4 years. No one wears a mask. At this point the sitter and all the parents are vaccinated, but the kids obviously aren’t. No one has caught covid. There were a few times where one of the parents had to quarantine because of an exposure, but everyone was very good about keeping their kids home if there was any risk at all, or if they were sick (even if it was probably just a cold, etc). Honestly it’s been the healthiest year of daycare ever. Usually flus and colds run through everyone, but with all the extra precautions it’s been so much better.

19 month old is at daycare full time. No one wears masks as they want to keep it as normal for the kids as possible (only take kids up to 6). There has only been one scare in over a year.

My son is in nursery from 8.30-1 5 days a week. I am in Scotland and kids under 5 don't wear masks in public and primary school aged children don't wear masks in school. I work in a nursery and the staff don't wear masks when they are working with the children. They only wear masks when there aren't any children around or when collecting children from their parents. None of my colleagues, children I work with have caught Covid-19 or any staff or children in my sons nursery.

My daughter is 6 months and in daycare full time. Since summer started, vaccinated staff no longer have to wear masks. One of the classmates tested positive, so we had to have her home for a week. She was negative, which I attribute to her getting my breast milk after I was vaccinated. My state has high vaccination rates, so I’m not sure if daycare will start to require masks again.

My kids have been out of daycare since April because we moved, but prior they were in daycare 8 hours a day and they didn’t wear masks, never caught Covid. They’re starting at a new daycare next month and my 2 year old won’t be wearing a mask but my 4 year old will. The policy at this place is masks are encouraged but the teachers are not allowed to touch the masks so only kids who can put them on/take them off by themselves can wear one.
