should i worry about hiv

i'm 16 and i've been dating a boy for 7 months and we've had sex. we were both virgins when we met but we never got tested or anything. I don't have any symptoms of HIV but now I'm wondering if it's something I should be worried about. His parents have never told him that he has HIV so I don't know if I have to worry about that like if his parents gave it to him when he was born. because we're teenagers and our parents are pretty strict we can't get tested. do you think that I'm fine or is there a chance i have it. would his parents know if they had it?
