How do i end this conversation 😖

So i was talking to this guy i met on an app. I was bored not really looking for anything in particular, we started talking he asked for my snap and we kept talking on there. But it has been less than a week since we started talking and i just don’t feel like talking to him anymore. I was out all day yesterday so i kind of was too busy to talk to him. He messaged me twice in the morning and i just left him on read when i got back home at night. Today he has messaged me a total of about 3-4 times and i haven’t opened those messages yet (just because i feel like leaving it on delivered is not as bad as leaving them on read). But to me that is way too many messages to someone you barely talked to. The bottom line is i don’t know if i should just leave it like this or just explain that i just don’t want to talk to him anymore (i don’t want to be rude but i feel like i am being any way). I should also say i am very inexperienced when it comes to dating since i have never had a boyfriend so i don’t really know what I’m doing here.

I responded yesterday and basically told him i was too busy to answer. Today I decided to be honest and just send him this

“Hey the amount of messages you sent when i couldn’t respond made me a little uncomfortable, i am not really interested in talking to you anymore. You are a really nice person and i wish you the best.”
