How long till teeth cut through?

Any mamas have babies who’s gums look like this? 
We are in a MOOD lately, so it has to be bugging him. Did they cut through fairly quickly, or do we have a ways to go?
It’s not a very good picture, I know. He doesn’t like it when we go anywhere hear his upper lip.

Those look like they have a long ways to go. My sons upper gums looked like that around 7 months old and didn’t pop through until nearly 10.5 months old

My daughter is working on the same thing. It's been 2 weeks and still nothing so far. Every kid is different though, my sons teeth all came through quickly without a fight
